Updated Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation HP

This April, the Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation homepage has been redone!

The Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation is a body that organizes a variety of programs for the people of Fukuoka Prefecture in order to promote interest in and strengthen international exchange.

The new homepage has been updated with a multitude of pictures and additional language support, including Korean, Chinese, English and Japanese, to make it even easier for the people of Fukuoka Prefecture, including foreign residents living in Fukuoka, to access information.

One of the special new features of the site is that information, which may be useful for foreign residents, has been posted in multiple languages. For example, information about Japanese language classes offered by volunteers in Fukuoka Prefecture appears, along with Google maps that help you understand exactly where classes are offered near you.

Also, you can access “Info from Fukuoka Prefecture” announcements, such as the one you are listening to right now, which have been broadcast. If there is information you want to hear again, you can, in English, Korean, Chinese or Japanese! There is also a Foreign Resident Consultation Corner, as well as advice on living matters and medical information. Be sure to make good use of all that’s available!

Now there is also a foreign exchange event calendar! In addition to offering information about the events held by the Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation, information on activities and events of international exchange bodies and local international exchange organizations within the prefecture is also available. Information submitted by others can also be posted to the calendar as well. Those interested in posting information should visit the website and use the event posting form to submit their request. Just search the “Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation” to find the site.
