The first message is for all those enrolled in the National Health Insurance program.

New National Health Insurance cards for those enrolled in the insurance will be mailed out in late March, and go into effect on the first of April. They are orange in color and all of the cards for all members of a household will be sent to the person registered as “Head of Household” with the city. If there are any outstanding fees, you may be issued a shorter term insurance card or a certificate of eligibility at your local ward office.

If you wish to receive the card via simplified registered mail, please notify the officer at the Health Insurance and Pension Section of your local ward or branch office by February 16th. For those who have received cards via simplified registered mail in 2016 or prior, there is no need to provide notification.

Those 70 through 74 years of age will receive their National Health Insurance Card for the Elderly, or in Japanese, "Kourei Jukyusha-sho". Those turning 70 years old on or after April 2nd this year, will be mailed a health card which they may use starting from the 1st day of the month following their 70th birthday. If your birthday is on the first of the month, you may use the card from that day. Also, medical certificates for children, the physically impaired, single-parent households and such can continue to be used after April. Health cards for those enrolled in the Later-stage Elderly Healthcare System will be mailed out in late July.

And Fukuoka city has another announcement regarding the cancer screening program for this year, which runs until March 31st. The qualifying ages and conditions to use the coupons are as follows:

Women turning 20 by April 1st are eligible to receive cervical cancer screening.
Women turning 40 by April 1st are eligible to receive breast cancer screening.
Those who qualify were mailed coupons for free examinations at the end of last June.

Please keep in mind that after the beginning of March, medical facilities offering service will become more crowded. Please be sure to schedule your exam early on.

今天为加入国民健康保险的朋友们介绍一则消息。
从4月1号开始有效的国民健康保险保险证将于3月下旬寄出。
新的保险证是橙色的、您家全体成员的都统一寄给户主。没交保险的，到区役所可以领到有效期短的保险证或资格证明书。
希望用简易书留(挂号信)寄去保险证的人，请于2月16号以前通知所在区的区役所或出张所的[保险年金担当科]。但如果您是从平成28年度以前就已经是用简易书留(挂号信)寄去保险证的，就不用再次声明了。
70岁---74岁的人，将为您寄去【国民健康保险被被保险者证兼高龄授给者证】今年4月2号以后满70岁的人，将收到生日的下一个月，1号生的将收到当天可以使用的保险证。
另外儿童・残障人士・单亲家庭等医疗证4月以后仍可继续使用。
后期高龄者医疗制度的保险证将于7月下旬寄去。
接下来提醒癌症检查对象者，本年度期限是3月31号。
对象者是４月１日为止满２０岁的女性需要接受宫颈癌检查、
４月１日为止满４０岁的女性需要接受乳腺癌体检、
免费体检票都已经在去年6月底寄出去了。
进入三月，各医疗机构人满为患请尽早去体检。

국민건강보험 가입자 여러분들께 알려드립니다.

4월1일부터 유효한 새 국민건강보험증을 3월 하순에 우송합니다.
새 보험증은 오렌지색이며, 가입하신 모든 분의 보험증을 세대주 앞으로 우송합니다.
보험료를 미납하신 경우에는 구청 창구에서 유효기한이 짧은 보험증이나 자격증명서를 교부하는 경우가 있습니다.

간이등기를 통한 보험증 송부를 희망하시는 분은 2월16일까지 주소지의 각 구청 또는 출장소 보험연금담당과에게 연락해 주세요. 2016년도 이전부터 간이등기로 송부받으신 경우에는 따로 연락하실 필요가 없습니다.

또한 만 70세부터 74세까지는 ‘국민건강보험 피보험자증 겸 고령수급자증’을 우송합니다. 올해 4월 2일 이후, 만 70세가 되는 분께는
생일 다음달부터, 1일에 태어나신 분은 생일부터 사용가능한 보험증을 우송합니다.

그리고 어린이, 장애인, 한부모 가정 등의 의료증은 4월1일 이후에도 사용가능하며,
후기고령자 의료제도 가입자의 보험증은 7월 하순에 우송합니다.

이어서 금년도 검진기한이 3월 31일인 암검진에 대해 알려드립니다.
4월 1일 시점으로 만 20세인 여성에게 자궁암 검진을,
4월 1일 시점으로 만 40세인 여성에게 유방암 검진을 무료로 받을 수 있는 쿠폰을
지난해 6월말에 송부했습니다.
3월에는 의료기관이 혼잡해지므로 해당하시는 분은 서둘러 검진받으시기 바랍니다.
