On October 1, the "Fukuoka City Science Museum”, a museum centered around experiencing science, was born. It inspires children and adults, stimulates creativity through encounters with science, and nurtures dreams.

It is connected by direct escalator straight from Ropponmatsu Subway Station to the entrance of the Science Museum three floors up from the ground. There are low counters accommodating wheelchairs, and tour guidance with signage in multiple languages also available.

Located on the 6th floor is the "Dome Theater" planetarium with a diameter of 25 meters, making it Kyushu's largest. You can see a realistically reconstructed night sky, projected on large domed screens delivering a powerful and realistic experience. The museum has introduced an infrared hearing aid system, naturally accommodating those hard of hearing, but also allowing you to listen in English, Chinese, or Korean for selected programs, helping foreign visitors enjoy as well. Enjoy stunning imagery and beautiful music. "Science Hall”, which can project 4K video, is a multipurpose hall that can hold lectures, seminars, and theatrical performances, among other affairs as well. At certain events you can also experience the feelings of astronauts through VR.

In the basic exhibition room on the 5th floor, you can enjoy participatory experiences such as “Space”, “Environment”, “Life”, “Organism”, and “Future” allowing you to think about the future, and other science shows as well. In addition, there are various corners where you can experience the pleasures and surprises of science, such as “Robosquare” and ‘Creative space’, a place where local creators utilize the latest digital technology to create visual works. Also, in the craft work room, under the guidance of the staff, you can experience creating digital works. It has the latest equipment such as 3D printers and laser cutters.

The information corner on the 4th floor is called “Science Navigation” and provides guidance about experiences available at the museum and also information on other science topics that visitors may be interested in. There are also substantial science related magazines and books in a well stocked library. The “Special Exhibition Hall” on the 3rd floor is a large space with the height of the second floor, and everyone can enjoy exhibitions which are drawing the publics’ attention.

10월 1일 과학과의 만남을 통해 창조력을 높이고 꿈을 키우는,
남녀노소가 즐길 수 있는 체험형 뮤지엄 [후쿠오카시 과학관]이 탄생했습니다.
지하철 롯폰마쓰역 바로 옆으로 지상에서 3층 과학관 입구까지 직통 에스컬레이터로 연결되어 있습니다. 접수 카운터는 휠체어 이용자를 위해 낮게 설치되었으며, 다국어 표시 안내도 있습니다.

6층의 [돔 시어터]는 규슈 최대급을 자랑하는 지름 25미터 크기로, 돔형 대형 스크린에 등장하는 별하늘과 박력과 현장감 넘치는 영상을 볼 수 있습니다.
적외선 보청 시스템을 도입해 청각 장애인은 물론 시스템 번역기능을 통해 일부 프로그램은 영어, 중국어, 한국어로 청취 가능해 외국인도 즐길 수 있습니다.
천정 가득히 펼쳐지는 영상과 아름다운 음악을 감상하세요.

4K영상을 투영할 수 있는 [사이언스 홀]은 강연회와 세미나, 연극 등도 개최 가능한 다목적 홀이며, 행사 시에는 영상으로 우주비행사 기분을 즐길 수 있는 프로그램도 체험할 수 있습니다.

5층 기본전시실에서는 우주, 환경, 생활, 생명과 미래를 생각하는 [미래] 참가체험형 전시, 다양한 쇼가 펼쳐지는 사이언스 쇼 등을 즐길 수 있습니다.
그밖에도 지역 크리에이터들이 최신 디지털 기술로 제작한 영상작품 등을 전시하는 [크리에이티브 스페이스]와 [로보 스퀘어] 등 과학의 재미와 경이로움을 체험할 수 있는 다양한 코너가 설치되어 있습니다.
한편, 공작실에서는 직원들의 지도를 받으며 디지털 공작 등을 체험할 수 있습니다. 3D프린터와 레이저 커터 등 최신 설비를 갖추고 있습니다.

4층 정보 코너 [사이언스 내비]에서는 과학관 이용방법과 이용자에게 필요한 과학 정보를 검색할 수 있으며, 과학 관련 잡지와 서적 등의 도서도 잘 갖춰져 있습니다.
3층 기획전시실은 천정이 높아 확트인 대공간으로 누구나가 즐길 수 있고 화제성 있는 전시를 실시합니다. 여러분, 많이 방문해 주세요.

10月1日，通过和科学的邂逅激发青少年的想象力创作力，树立对于未来的梦想，供孩子们，成人们感受科学的乐趣的好去处诞生了，这就是体验型场馆「福冈市科学馆」。
从地铁六本松站出来马上映入眼帘的大楼，乘电梯可以直接到3楼科学馆入口。这里有为轮椅客人准备的低矮服务台，还有多语种外语标牌介绍。
6楼是九州最大规模的直径25米的天文馆叫「圆顶剧场」。圆顶大型屏幕上演完美再现自然的星空图像，非常逼真非常震撼。由于导入了远红外线助听系统，不仅听觉残障人士，系统本身的翻译功能还能为您提供部分英语・汉语・韩语外语解说。满天的星空和美妙的音乐邀请您享受充满幻想的世界。
配置了4K图像投影系统的「科学礼堂」是可供召开讲演、研讨会，戏剧表演等的多功能礼堂。举办活动时还可以巧妙使用这里的宇航员太空体验项目。
5楼的基本展室里，有宇宙」「环境」「生活」「生命」及未来，激励人们思考的「未来」体验型展览、还有各种科普表演等。
除此以外还可以参观本地创意者们使用新型数码技术制作的视频、还有机器人广场等感受科学魅力发现时代气息的空间。
不仅是看，还可以亲自参加制作。在制作室里，有工作人员指导您制作数码及其他的作品。这里配置有３D打印机和激光切割机等最新设备。
4楼的信息角「科学指南」里，介绍科学馆的特点，如何查找适合自己的科学信息。并有多种科技杂志科普书籍。
3楼企划展室是相当于2层楼高的巨大空间，展出大家感兴趣的受人瞩目的一些展览。希望大家抽空来福冈市科学馆参观感受。
