On October 20^th, a new facility opened at the Municipal Zoo Main gate of the Fukuoka City Zoological and Botanical Garden located in Minamikoen, Chuo Ward in Fukuoka City.  An entrance of the Municipal Zoo Main Gate, the General Information Center, an animal information house, a gift shop and a restaurant are on the first floor, and car and bike parking in the basement.

 At the animal information house, there is an exhibition where you can enjoy learning about animals using the latest digital technology and videos. It also features a stereoscopic illustrated map that contains information such as location of the animals and plants in the park and their characteristics as well as videos that take you on a virtual bus trip to the animal’s natural habitats. In addition, there is a screen that the animals pop-out of following imitations of their voices by visitors.

An education exhibition about plant and animal food chains and videos of animal characters who talk about their own characteristics in amusing ways are also available.

In the gift shop, sweets made with local manufactures and other original items including stuffed animals modeled on the popular Oriental small-clawed otter “Genta” are available as a souvenir of your visit.

In the café, a menu of local products such as Fukuoka brand chicken cutlets, Mentai pasta and others are offered. The gift shop and café may also be visited by non-visitors of the park.

In the Botanical Garden the “Rose Festival in autumn” is being held until November 4^th where 1100 roses of about 250 types are in full bloom.

The “rose café” opens on the rose garden Observation Deck between 2 to 4 pm on weekdays where you can enjoy coffee, tea and cookies. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, a garden train runs from the Entrance Plaza to the Open Lawn Space, and volunteer guides for roses are also available.

The Fukuoka City Zoological and Botanical Garden is open from 9am to 5pm.  Admission is 600 yen for adults, 300 yen for high school students, and free for Junior High school students and younger.  The garden is closed on Mondays but if a national holiday falls on Monday, it is closed on the next week day. On Sunday October 28^th the park is free to enter for all visitors.  Please come and visit.

10월 20일, 후쿠오카시 주오구 미나미 공원에 위치한

후쿠오카시 동식물원의 동물원 정문에 새로운 시설을 개장했습니다.

1층에는 동물원 정문 입구와 종합안내소 이외에 동물정보관과 물품판매소 및 음식점을, 지하1층에는 주차장과 자전거 주차장 기능을 갖추었습니다.

 

동물정보관에서는 최신 디지털기술과 영상을 구사한 전시를 통해

동물에 대해 즐겁게 배울 수 있습니다.

시설 내 동물과 식물의 위치와 특징을 안내하는 입체 일러스트 지도와

동물들의 서식지까지 버스를 타고 여행하는 기분을 느낄 수 있는 영상.

이 외에 동물 울음소리를 흉내내면 동물이 나타나는 영상,

동식물의 먹이사슬에 대해 배울 수 있는 전시, 그리고 독특한 동물 캐릭터가 자신들의 특징을 재미있게 설명하는 영상 등이 있습니다.

 

기념품매장에서는 방문 기념이 될 수 있도록 지역제조사와 함께 제조한 과자, 동물원의 스타, 작은발톱수달 ‘겐타’가 모델인 손수건 등 오리지널 제품을 판매합니다.

카페에서는 후쿠오카 브랜드 닭고기를 사용한 커틀릿과 명란젓 파스타 등

신토불이 메뉴도 판매합니다.

기념품매장과 카페는 동식물원을 방문하지 않는 일반 손님도 이용 가능합니다.

 

한편 식물원 구간에서는 11월 4일까지 ‘추계 장미축제’를 개최 중입니다.

약 250종류의 1100포기 장미가 아름답게 피어있습니다.

 

기간 중, 평일 오후 2시부터 4시까지는 장미정원의 전망대에서

커피와 홍차, 쿠키를 즐길 수 있는 ‘로즈 카페’를 개최합니다.

토요일과 일요일, 공휴일에는 입구광장에서 잔디광장까지 가든 열차가 달리며,

자원봉사자가 장미에 관한 안내도 실시합니다.

 

후쿠오카시 동식물원 개장시간은 오전 9시부터 오후 5시까지.

입장료는 어른 600엔, 고등학생 300엔, 중학생 이하는 무료입니다.

휴원일은 월요일이지만, 월요일이 공휴일인 경우에는 다음 평일날이 휴원일이 됩니다.

10월28일(일)은 무료 개원일입니다. 많이 방문해 주세요.

10月20日，位于福冈市中央区南公园的福冈市动植物园的动物园的正门，诞生了一个新的设施。

该设施的1楼是动物园的正门入门处和综合案内所，还有动物信息馆和出售商品・饮食的地方，地下1楼是汽车・自行车的停车场。

动物信息馆里使用最先进的数字技术通过映像介绍动物们的生息知识。还有介绍园内动植物的位置及特征的立体实体彩绘地图和坐着车去动物们居住的地方沿途快乐的录像片。

还有模仿动物的声音屏幕上就会显示该种动物的样子、动植物食物链方面的科普介绍， 以及有个性的动物们幽默地自我介绍的录像，充满情趣。

在礼品店里，有和本地厂家合作特制的点心和动物园里的明星亞洲小爪水獺ta4「げんた」模型的玩具等只有这里才可以买到的独特商品。可吃饭休息的咖啡店里，

有福冈产的鸡肉做成的炸鸡排，明太子意大利面。不进动物园的人也可以进礼品店和餐饮店购物和休息。

植物园区，正在举行「秋天玫瑰花节」，11月4日结束。约250种1100株玫瑰在迎接来客的到来。在活动期间下午的２点-４点、玫瑰园展望台有可以喝咖啡红茶吃甜点的「ローズカフェ」。

周六、日、节日，从大门附近的广场到里面的大草坪之间行驶着花园列车，有志愿者们为游客讲解玫瑰花知识。

福冈市动植物园开园时间上午９点-下午５点。入园费大人600日元。高中生300日元。中学生以下免费。休园日是星期一，如果周一是节日就顺延到第二天的工作日休园。

福冈市动植物园10月28日(星期日)是免费开园日。请大家利用这个机会来此一游。
