On Sunday November 18th, the International Cooperation Festival Global Citizen’s Dontaku 2018will be held at Tenjin Chuo Park.

At this international cooperation event, the theme of which is “Connecting Fukuoka and the World- and The Things We Can Do for the realization of SDGs,” there will be an introduction on how anyone can participate in international cooperation projects, as well as the activities of various groups. There you can enjoy yourself and learn the current situation of the world through workshops, hand-on activities and performances. Please come by and check it out.  It will be held from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday November 18th at Tenjin Chuo Park.

Next is an announcement about the 14th “Welcome to Fukuoka” Event that is currently looking for participants. On Saturday November 17th there will be a recreational foreign event for international students and Japanese alike at Reizen Park near the Nakasu-Kawabata subway station.  It will be held from 10 am to 2 pm and participation is free.  For those who are wishing to attend, please apply with the Fukuoka International Student Support Association. The deadline for registry is Friday November  9th at 5 pm.
