Rainbow Plaza would like to let you know about open enrollment for the 2015 Foreign Student Taught Language Classes program. Learn more than just language in these language classes taught by overseas students! Through classroom interaction, wide and varied age and occupational groups have learnt language as well as about the culture and societies of Asia and Asia-Pacific countries such as Myanmar, Vietnam, China, Korea as well as of other countries, like Spain.

Classes are offered at the Fukuoka International House. It's just a 5 minute walk from the Fukuoka City Nakasu-Kawabata Subway Station. Classes start in May this year and run through February of next year! That's a full 10 months! And it's only 32,400 yen, tax included, for a full year's courses!

And, also at Rainbow Plaza, located on the 8th floor of the Tenjin IMS Building, free legal and personal counseling is available to foreigners living in Fukuoka.

The legal consultations are available from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM on the first and
third Saturdays of every month. On each day, up to four people can sign up for consultation. Each session runs for 45 minutes including time for interpretation, if necessary. If you’ll need an interpreter, mention that when you make your reservation and Rainbow Plaza will make arrangements. The service is available by appointment only, and a lawyer from the Fukuoka Bar Association will offer the consultation.

And, free personal counseling with a Japanese clinical psychologist is also available at Rainbow Plaza. Services are offered in English or Japanese, every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Reservations are required, and the staff at Rainbow Plaza will arrange appointment times with the psychologist.

If you choose to use either of these services, you should know that confidentiality is guaranteed. Relax and feel at ease to take advantage of these complementary services.
