There have been many instances reported of bicycles, parked in lots along roadsides, being stolen. When using such facilities, please be sure to fasten multiple locks. Metered lots allow one to secure a bicycle with a passcode at the parking machine when first parking one's bicycle. Please be sure to use this function. Fukuoka city takes no responsibility for trouble taking place at parking facilities. In order to avoid becoming a victim, please don't forget to employ both the use of multiple locks as well as a passcode.

Also, please note that owners of motorbikes and light-weight "k-cars" are required to report thefts, as well as vehicle disposal, transfer of ownership, or change of residence.

Depending on the type of car it is, the place of inquiry and notification differs. For motorbikes 125cc or less, and for small special-purpose vehicles, please contact the tax imposition section of your local ward office. For light motor vehicles and for motorbikes in excess of 125cc but not over 250cc, you should contact the Fukuoka Office of the Japan Light Motor Vehicle and Motorcycle Association. When handing a motorbike or a light motor vehicle over to a friend for them to own, when scrapping them, or when one is stolen, it is necessary to submit a notification form by March 31st. Vehicle taxes are charged on April 1st. If you do not submit notice of changes in a vehicle's status in time, the person listed as the owner is responsible for paying the entire amount of tax due on such vehicles. Unlike full-weight cars, taxes are not accrued on a monthly basis. Please keep in mind that service locations will become crowded as the end of March approaches. Please be sure to file early on.

停放在路边的自行车被偷了，最近常出现这样的事情。
自行车存放时请一定多上一把锁。
在集中生产方式的停车场，入库时可以在精算机上设定密码请一定利用一下这个功能。
福冈市对于停车场内发生的事故一律不负责所以请各自想办法，例如刚才介绍的多加锁，设定密码等，来防止被盗。
万一被盗，摩托车及轻自动车的话，需要告知有关部门进行登记
其他的需要办理手续的还有费车・转让・搬家。
125㏄以下的原动机付自行车和小型特殊自动车的使用需要到各区纳税课登记。
轻自动车和125㏄以上250㏄以下的摩托车、需要去轻自动车协会登记。

超过250㏄的摩托车需要到福冈运输支局登记。

轻自动车税是４月１日时车主要交的税。
而且和普通的自动车税不同，不可以每月分交。
如果被盗，费车・转让・搬家了，还没有办理取消手续的人、请一定在３月３１日前赶紧办手续。
每年３月底窗口来办手续的人很多，所以避开高峰尽早办手续。

경자동차세는 4월1일 소유자에게 부과합니다. 자동차세와 달리 매달 분할해서 과세하는 제도는 없습니다. 도난이나 폐차, 양도, 이사 등 변경사항을 신고하지 않은 경우에는 3월31일까지 신고해 주시기 바랍니다.
