Lots of life changes come in the start of April, and so March is a busy moving season. Those leaving Fukuoka city are required to provide notification that they are moving out by submitting a form called a "tenshutsu todoke" in Japanese, to the Citizen Section of their local ward office no later than the date of their move. This is required to receive a form certifying the move, called a "tenshutsu shoumeisho" that proves one has ended residence at their previous address. The tenshutsu shoumeisho will be required to register residence at a new address. The tenshutsu todoke form is not required of those moving within Fukuoka city. However, it is required that you report your move, to the Citizen Section of the local branch or ward office of the area to which you move, within 14 days of taking up your new residence.

And, if a municipal elementary or junior high school student will be transferring schools, it is necessary to submit a notice of transfer to the current school, called a "tenkou todoke" in Japanese, before moving. You will then receive what is called a "kakuninsho" in Japanese, which is a confirmation of transfer form. It should be submitted together with any "tenshutsu todoke" or "tenkyo todoke" forms to the Citizen Section of your new local ward office.

Also, please be aware that when changing addresses, you are required to update the information featured on My Number cards or on notification cards. Please bring all cards that are required to be updated with you at the same time. In addition, please bring any other identification cards or books related to national health insurance, latter-stage elderly health care, national pensions, disability certification, nursing care insurance or child allowances with you as well.

It is also important to contact the Fukuoka City Waterworks Bureau at least 4 days prior to your move, or 5 days if contacting them via Internet, not counting Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Please search "Fukuoka shi suidou kyoku" in Japanese on the Internet for more information.

And, you may dispose of garbage generated from moving in several different ways. Some may be put out with normal garbage. Other items may be taken directly to garbage processing facilities, or you may make a request with a garbage collection service. If you plan on dropping off garbage yourself, contact the Carry-in Garbage Call Center at 092-433-8234. If you would like to find a collection service, please consult the Fukuoka City Commercial Environment Association by phone at 092-741-5517 for information. Lastly, if disposing of oversized garbage, please contact the Over-sized Garbage Disposal Call Center at 092-731-1195. All of these services require reservations to be made in advance and fees will apply.

Lastly, when disposing of home electronics, such as air conditioners, televisions, refrigerators, freezers, washers or clothing dryers, please contact the store from which you purchased them to request collection. If that is not possible, please contact your nearest Best Denki store for assistance with disposal. And when disposing of personal computers, please search for guidance from the product's manufacturer or search "renetjapan" on the Internet and apply for pick up through ReNet Japan.

4月开始新生活，3月是搬家的大忙时节。
要搬出福冈市、需要在搬家前去各区市民科办理手续，领取新住址需要的搬出证明书，这项手续叫転出届。
如果是在福冈市内的搬家，不需要这样的手续，只是搬家后14天以内去新住所所在的区役所市民科或出张所报到就行了。
有关市立小学・中学转校手续，搬家前先交转校申请到当地学校领到确认书之后交到对方的区市民科就可以了。
同时搬家手续里要变更住址，这时需要填个人号码，所以请带上全家人的个人号码卡或有全家号码的通知卡。另外请不要忘记办理国民健康保险・后期高龄者医疗・国民年金・残障者手帐・看护保险・儿童补贴等的手续。
福冈市水道局除了周六日节日以外，要在搬家的4天前通知。网上办手续要在除周六日节日以外，在搬家5天前办。请进入「福冈市 水道局」网页检索。
搬家时产生的垃圾除了通常的办法以外还可以拿到处理设施或请业主上门来取的办法。拿到处理设施去需要事先和「自己搬入垃圾事前受理中心」电话092-433-8234。
让业主来收集的话请打电话到「福冈市事业用环境协会」电话092-741-5517。
如果是粗大垃圾、需要和「粗大垃圾受理中心」联系，电话092-731-1195。所有处理方法需要事先预约并发生费用。
家电方面，空调・电视・冰箱・冷冻库・洗衣机・衣服干燥机，需要请购买时的商店帮忙回收，电脑的话，请厂家或在网上搜素「リネットジャパン」请リネットジャパン回收。

4월부터 새로운 생활을 하기 위해 3월은 이사를 하는 분들이 많습니다.
후쿠오카시를 벗어날 때는 전출일까지 각구의 시민과에 전출신고를 하고,
새 주거지에서 신고하는데 필요한 전출증명서를 발급받으시기 바랍니다.
후쿠오카 시내로 이사할 때는 전출신고는 불필요하지만 이사 후 14일 이내에
새 주거지 구청 시민과 또는 출장소에 신고하시기 바랍니다.

그리고 시립초등학교, 중학교 전학절차는 이사하기 전에 학교로 전학신고를 해서 확인서를 받아둔 후, 전출 및 이사신고 때 구청 시민과로 함께 제출해 주세요.

이사나 전입으로 주소변경 신청을 할 경우, 통지카드 또는 마이넘버 카드 기재내용도 함께 변경해야 합니다. 기재내용이 변경된 모든 대상자의 통지카드 또는 마이넘버 카드를 지참하시기 바랍니다.
그밖에 국민건강보험, 후기고령자의료, 국민연금, 장애인수첩, 개호보험, 아동수당 등의 절차도 잊지 마시기 바랍니다.
