The Fukuoka Marathon 2018 is going to be held on November 11 and sign-ups are starting now! The 42.195 km “One Way Course”, starting in the center of Fukuoka city and stretching all the way to Itoshima city, is open to anyone born before April 1, 2000, excluding high school students. For runners in Japan, it costs ¥10,800 to participate, and ¥12,960 for those entering through the Overseas Entry site. There are a total of 12,000 openings in the race.

There is also a 5.2 km Fun Run for up to 2,000 runners, if you are not up for the full marathon. It is open to male and female runners of junior high school age and older, who can complete the course within 50 minutes. And there is also a 5.2 km Wheelchair Race for male and female participants of junior high school age and older holding a physical disability certificate, and who can finish the race in a racing wheelchair in under 30 minutes. Up to 20 participants may join this race. It costs ¥2,160 for junior high school students and ¥3,240 for those in high school or older.

Applications are being taken over the Internet until 5:00 PM, May 21. Those paying via designated money transfer form must complete payment no later than May 14 as indicated by the postmark on the envelope.

There will be a new “Consecutive Unsuccessful Applications” lottery offering advanced registration for 555 runners who have participated but not successfully completed the marathon for the last three consecutive years. In addition, in an effort to get friends to volunteer with the race, there is a volunteer category for groups. For every group containing 10 or more volunteers, 1 member from within the group will be chosen to run. The first 100 applicants will be awarded positions on a first-come, first-served basis.

And, in an effort to get newcomers to try the wheelchair race, for the first time in the marathon’s history, rental racing wheelchairs and instruction will be made available for junior and senior high school students. In addition, there will be lectures and instructional classes on exercise and health mainly for middle-aged and elderly people to promote the development of healthy lifestyles.

11월 11일에 개최하는 ‘후쿠오카 마라톤 2018’ 참가자를 현재 모집 중입니다.

후쿠오카시 중심부에서 이토시마시로 가는 코스를 달리는 42.195km 마라톤에는

고등학생을 제외하고 2000년 4월1일 이후에 출생하신 분이 참가하실 수 있습니다.

참가비는 일본 국내 참가자 10,800엔, 다국어 참가신청 사이트 이용자 12,960엔이며, 정원은 12,000명입니다.

풀마라톤 참가가 힘드신 분은 5.2km 거리의 펀런 경기도 있습니다. 50분 이내에 완주 가능한 중학생 이상의 남녀가 참가할 수 있고 정원은 2,000명입니다.

5.2km 휠체어경기는 신체장애인수첩을 소지한 휠체어 사용자로, 레이스용 휠체어로 30분 이내에 완주 가능한 중학생 이상의 남녀가 참가할 수 있고, 정원은 20명입니다.

펀런과 휠체어 경기 참가비는 고등학생 이상 3,240엔, 중학생 2,160엔입니다.

인터넷 참가신청 마감은 5월21일 오후5시, 전용입금용지 신청은 5월14일 당일 소인 유효에 한합니다.

올해는 과거 3번의 대회에서 추첨에 연속 탈락한 분 중 희망자 555명을 우선적으로 추천하는 ‘추첨 연속 탈락자’ 참가자가 신설됩니다. 그리고 지인의 참가를 계기로 자원봉사 활동에 참가할 수 있도록 10명 이상의 규모로 자원봉사자 신청을 하신 단체에게 1명의 시합 출전 기회를 제공하는 선착순 100명의 ‘그룹 자원봉사자 참가자’도 신설됩니다.

또한 마라톤 대회의 첫 시도로 초보자가 휠체어 경기에 도전하는 계기가 되도록

중학생에게 경기용 휠체어를 대여하거나 휠체어 경기를 지도하고, 주로 중장년 세대를 위해 강연과 운동교실을 통해 건강조성에 힘쓰는 사업 등을 실시합니다.

福冈市市中心出发到丝岛市单程42.195公里的马拉松，除高中生以外，2000年4月1日前出生的人谁都可以参加。报名费国内10800日元，利用多语种报名网报名的人12960日元。共招12000人。

如果全程马拉松没有信心的话，可以参加5.2公里的ファンラン。凡是50分钟以内可以跑下来的中学生以上年龄的人都可以参加。共招2000人。同样5.2公里的轮椅马拉松竞赛，供持有残障人手册坐轮椅行动，使用比赛型轮椅在30分钟以内跑完的中学生以上的人参加。这个项目共招20名。报名费ファンラン和轮椅竞赛都是高中生以上3240日元、中学生2160日元。

网上报名截至5月21号下午5点，使用专用汇款单报名截止5月14号以当天邮戳为准

今年，为连续3年都落选的555名新设了优先考虑「连续落选者栏」。还有为朋友同事参赛愿意来帮忙的志愿者，10名以上的团体报名可以享受一名参赛权，团体报名面向先到的100名，栏目是「团体志愿者」。

另外马拉松大会首次尝试，初心者挑战轮椅竞赛，请中学生高中生坐上轮椅，体会竞技特点，有专人给指导，为中老年朋友举行讲座，通过体育教室形式提高保健意识。详情请参阅「福冈马拉松２０１８」网页。
