The “Asian Party” will be held in Fukuoka city again this year from September to October. The event looks to create new value together with Asia as a whole. It is an event through which you can experience the many allures of Asia, such as culture, art, movies, and music, among other things. Also, September is “Music Month”! You can enjoy music at suburban seaside locations as well as downtown. Please feel the power of Asia today in every part of the city. Here is an introduction to some of the main events.

First is the early screenings of cinematic works which are creating stirs, and of other excellent, recent Asian movies. You can see them ahead of everyone else in the country at the “Focus on Asia Fukuoka International Film Festival”.

Starting with the opening ceremony on September 14th, and running until the 23rd, about 40 works will be screened at United Cinemas Canal City 13. Screenings are mainly movies being shown for the first time in Japan. This year's focus is on Filipino movies, as one of Asia's leading film competitors. The special collection features Filipino movies that have been attracting attention from all over the world. In addition to a variety of lineups, guests will be welcomed through symposiums outlining the dynamism of the Philippines “now”. Next, “The Creators” is an event through which you can experience cutting edge technology and entertainment. The Creators celebrates its seventh year this year, and will be held on September 22nd and 23rd at the Fureai Hiroba Plaza on the west side of Fukuoka City Hall. A large-scale display will be set up on stage, and the powerful images and music performances by various creators active in Fukuoka, and around the world, will be shown. It is a must-see event! Finally, there is “Fukuoka Music Month”. This month is called “Fukuoka Music Month” because five music events are being held in various places in Fukuoka. This year, started with “Sunset Live” on September 1st and 2nd, followed by “Nakasu Jazz” in the Nakasu area on September 14th and 15th. 9월14일 개막식부터 23일까지 유나이티드 시네마 캐널시티13에서 일본 첫공개 작품을 중심으로 약 40작품을 상영합니다.

福冈市今年9月，10月两个月也将举行「亚洲派对」。这是 和亚洲各国共创新价值为目标，让大家从文化、艺术、电影、音乐等多方面感受亚洲多彩魅力的大型活动。同时9月在海边和市内各会场还举行以音乐为主题的「福冈音乐月」。大家都出来到各个地方感受现代亚洲的活力。

下面介绍主要活动内容。

首先是，上映亚洲的新电影，有影响力的电影的「聚焦亚洲・福冈国际电影节」。

9月14日开幕式之后一直到23日结束，地点在ユナイテッド・シネマ キャナルシティ13，有日本首次公映的电影在内的40部银幕作品。今年特别推荐「菲律宾电影」。集中介绍亚洲屈指可数的电影大国菲律宾的电影作品。除了观赏电影以外，还有个特别的地方就是可以见到影片制作的艺术家们，来自菲律宾的艺术家们将为我们带来什么样的话题呢
