The Hakataza Theater, located in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City and supported by many, marked its 20-year anniversary this year.

The theater puts on various performances throughout the year. Many patrons enjoy feeling fully immersed in the theater as all seating makes them feel close to the stage in an easy to see, magnificently acoustic theater experience. It is also easily accessible from the Nakasu-kawabata subway station.

Sunday March 3rd marks the beginning of the theater’s Kabuki plays. This time the Kabuki actor plays ten rolls who quickly changes costumes, flies through the air and uses real water on stage in a Kabuki entertainment experience that can be enjoyed even by those who have never witnessed a Kabuki play before. Come witness the spectacle of a real Kabuki play.

In addition to the theater and stage, visitors can purchase attractive and original souvenirs such as Hakataza Anpan pastries, Hakataza Kintsuba cakes and others. Be sure to check out the artwork on display, the Hakata Ningyou dolls that are deeply related to the history of the Hakata area.

From Saturday March 30th, an original Hakataza Theater version of the popular television drama, Mentai Piriri will be played. Tickets for both the Kabuki play and Mentai Piriri are on sale now.

This year’s performances, marking the 20-year anniversary of the theater, are sure to be something you won’t want to miss.

位于福冈市博多区的著名剧院 博多座，在大家的支持和鼓励下迎来了20周年。

博多座全年举办各种类型的演出，而且地理位置优越，和地铁中州川端站直接相连，受到大家的好评。内部设计也很人性化，座椅离舞台很近，适合观看。音响效果极佳，充满立体感。

3月3日星期天开始，日本传统戏剧歌舞伎的公演，本次公演，歌舞伎演员仿佛是变魔术的一样，快速更换戏装，一个人同时扮演10个角色，有空中飞舞，有使用真水设计的布景，无论您熟悉不熟悉歌舞伎，初次观看也会被其精彩的娱乐秀所震撼，请一定来欣赏一次现场表演的歌舞伎。

除了看演出，「博多产小豆面包」和「博多座きんつば」等富有特色的点心也是一个卖点，另外馆内摆设着各式博多人形等和博多有着不解之缘的工艺品，可以配合看节目一起欣赏。
