Today’s message from Fukuoka Prefecture is about the multilingual website it runs, asianbeat.

Asianbeat is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Established in 2005, asianbeat helps promote friendship between different areas of Asia by delivering news on things from Japan, and Fukuoka, popular around the world, such as pop culture fashion, anime and manga comics. It does so in a total of 7 languages, including Chinese (traditional and simplified), English, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese.
